Eco-Programs at Tunehouse
Service centres are required by law to have an oil recycler. At Tunehouse, we have the latest state-of-the-art Castrol lubrication centre including water / air seperator for the greatest possible safety in these environmentally conscious times.
If you have any waste oil, don’t pour it down the drain, drop it off at your local service centre for recycling.
Our recycling tank holds 900 litres of oil after it has any water component removed by the recycler. This oil is collected and recycled for industrial use. We recycle used oil filters, coolant and collect refridgerent gases from air conditioning systems in a manner that doesnt expose our environment to any harm.
Even the fashion in which oil is handled in Tunehouse is state of the art with system’s that don’t allow for spillage or wastage of any kind.
The Tunehouse dyno even uses environmentally friendly water for cooling – We designed our own system that allows us to use rain water and store it in-house for use with our dyno unit as well as selected uses throughout the building where water isn’t for drinking or consumption of any kind.
Cars registered in NSW must meet strict emissions standards – some of the toughest in the world. Our range of specialist equipment also includes an emissions tester, an integral part of our dyno tuning service.
We aim to ensure your engine cleanly burns all of the fuel, all of the time to maxize performance with minimum emissions. This saves you money whilst saving the environment.
