Bathurst 12hr Renault
Clio

Feb 2010
First up is the great
result we had from the
Bathurst 12 hour race.
Jim custom tuned a
Renault Clio for the
Safe-T-Stop team, they
ended up 3rd in class
and 16th overall;- a
great result considering
there were many other
more powerful cars there
that finished lower on
the podium.

Workshop '08 STI WRX
Build
-
Feb 2010
Our preparation of the
workshop '08 STI WRX is
progressing well. The
latest part installed on
the car was a Cosworth
inlet manifold,
complementing the host
of bolt on parts already
fitted to the car.
Combined with many hours
of Jims legendary custom
tuning on the dyno the
car made 284awkw, up
from a previous best of
245awkw. This car will
now be entered in the
club sprint class of
Superlap in May.
Very exciting stuff for
us all.

HKS Visits Tunehouse in Australia!
Tunehouse recently
hosted Manabu Ohtsuki and Nobuhito
Miyatsuka from HKS Japan on their annual
visit to HKS dealers in Australia. The
purpose of their visit was both from a
technical aspect and to also discuss
sales, marketing, and the expansion of
the HKS brand in Australia. Other HKS
dealers came from around Australia and
the visit was deemed a huge success.
Tunehouse looks
forward to it's continued association
with HKS.

Alpha Romeo Mito and BMW 135i with great
results.

Tunehouse
is now a ViPEC Dealer!
ViPEC produces two engine
management models, the V44 and
V88. Also plugin ECU based on
the V44 and V88 for Subaru,
Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda and
Toyota cars. All offer three
dimensional mapping of fuel and
ignition and are full sequential
up to eight cylinder. Support
for up to twelve cylinder wasted
spark. Also a four channel twin
capacitor CDI ignition.
Tunehouse
can now supply, tune and install all
your ViPEC products. |

Tunehouse is
happy to announce that we are now an
authorised EcuTeK dealer! EcuTeK produce
software and products designed to
enhance factory products. They allow the
user the ability to log, display and
diagnose engine performance data, and to
allow re-mapping (Reflashing) of
standard Factory Engine Control Units
(ECU's) systems for enhanced performance
or to meet car owners unique
requirements. |
