Whether your after dyno tuning for performance or maintenance reasons, Tunehouse is able to offer you a State of the art Dynopack Dyno able to hold up to 1200 rwkw at any RPM.


Why did we pick the Dynapack instead of the other Dynos?

The first most obvious difference between a Dynapack and a conventional rolling road dyno is the elimination of the tyre to roller interface. The Dynapack eliminates this variable by using a hub adaptor that provides direct coupling to the car. There is no tyre slip or rolling resistance and no chance of the vehicle coming off the rollers at high speed. (also no tyre wear).
 
The Dynapack eliminates the following variables that effect the accurate measurement of power:

  • The rolling road dyno is essentially a large heavy flywheel attached to your engine. The inertia is such that just trying to accelerate the mass of the roller is a substantial load for the engine.

  • Tyre temperature, tyre pressure and diameter are all variables that can and do change not only from run to run but during the run.

    The end result is that we can measure the power more accurately and hence be in a better position to tune your car more effectively.
