Announcing New EcuTek Map Support for Subaru
EcuTek have been working hard on enhancing the map support for Subaru ECUs and Tunehouse downloaded the very latest version for testing on our own EcuTek equipped 600hp STI!
Ecutek have added over 40 maps to nearly 500 vehicles – yes that’s 20,000 maps! When tuning troublesome, high power or other ‘special’ vehicles, it’s often handy for additional maps to be located and added to EcuTek’s tuning software. EcuTek have responded going through all supported maps and bringing them into the interface for us to work with so when tuning your special project, more than likely we’ll have access to the variable needed to ensure EcuTek is the most versatile platform available for your Subaru! As every car Tunehouse upgrades is 100% Custom tuned on the dyno by Jim Ghelis, Tunehouseowner and tuner – You can be sure of the best possible result on your Subaru at Tunehouse!
With the number of ECUs supported by EcuTek’s Subaru Interface approaching 500, this was no small undertaking. These maps apply to all the turbocharged versions of the Impreza WRX & STI, Liberty, Forester and all the special editions up to 2012!
Changes and additions include features such as low speed boost control, per-cylidner ignition correcton, Ignition retard on clutch Depression (anti lag effect) and even better control of closed loop fuelling parameters!
