Jim
The owner and the mentor. Jim started Tunehouse in 2001 and has built the brand to be synonymous with quality and service. His passion for cars and keen eye for detail earned him the reputation of being one of the most respected tuners and diagnosticians in the country.
Through the years, Jim’s magic touch has fixed, enhanced and upgraded everything from exotic supercars and classics to Japanese performance and domestic muscle cars.
Tony
Tony has been with Tunehouse since he was an apprentice mechanic, starting with Jim in 2002. Tony now takes lead role on the tools with the technicians and is often up till all hours working with Jim on project work. His favourite part of working at Tunehouse is working with Jim and being around such a broad range of cars while doing what he loves! Cars owned quickly adds up including an Audi 80, Honda Prelude, R32 GTST while he currently commutes daily in a Suzuki Swift – his pride and Joy is a 400+ KW ATW Tunehouse Prepared S15 200SX. Dream car..? He’d consider giving up the S15 for an AMG C63!
Dave
Dave is one of the technicians at Tunehouse and is hands-on for almost every hour the doors are open. Dave started in the trade in 1989 at the age of 21 and has been with Jim and the Team at Tunehouse as a mechanic since 2002. Dave is always on hand for a good laugh and outside of work is a mad NRL fan and keeps himself active playing indoor cricket. His first car was a Ford Cortina and we’re also led to believe it was also his favourite. Dave loves working at Tunehouse for the massive variation of cars he gets to work on and the impeccable workshop and facilities.
Nicole
Nicole is Tunehouse’s receptionist and friendly face of the business. Always ready with a smile, she will most likely be the first person customers see when they step into our immaculate workshop. Before Nicole joined Tunehouse, she admittedly knew very little about cars – a fact the team took on board to remedy! In her spare time, Nicole is a devoted Bulldogs supporter while spending her extra time with friends and family. She has yet to own a car but since working at Tunehouse, she has been seen eyeing our project car – the Tunehouse prepared Toyota 86!
Ambrose
Ambrose joined Tunehouse early in 2013 after being a customer of Tunehouse for a number of years. He currently handles all the Sales enquiries for the team while helping Jim with the admin side of the business. A performance enthusiast, Ambrose has a passion for all things motor-related especially having a soft spot for Japanese imports. In his spare time, Ambrose is an avid football fan having been a staunch Liverpool supporter most of his life. His pride and joy is a 2007 350z VQ35HR. Ambrose enjoys being at Tunehouse mainly for the opportunity to work with a team of passionate, like-minded enthusiasts, and of course, the cars!
